A Selection of Publications

My education and professional background is in journalism, communications, and public policy. I have been writing and communicating for over a decade - with the last five years at USAID as a speechwriter and communications advisor for the agency’s global climate and food security programs before the agency was dismantled. Specific areas of deep expertise include ocean plastics, air quality, renewable energy, infrastructure, resilience, and agriculture. Previously, I worked in corporate social responsibility roles for Fortune 500 companies and wrote about food insecurity in the U.S. and combating domestic violence.
